HP Mini 1103 Netbook

HP introduced its latest Mini netbook designed for business users, the Mini 1103. The 10.1-inch 1024x600 LED-backlit screen keyboard faces a 93 per cent more than the size of a notebook-size, and the device weighs just under 2.8 pounds with a three-cell battery. A 1.66GHz Atom CPU is standard fare, although a N475 1.83 GHz is optional, and while there is support for 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, 1 GB will be available only from HP.

Windows Starter Edition is preloaded on 7, 7200 PRM 160GB drive, with options for SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 and FreeDOS and 250GB or 320GB hard drive. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built into all models, and an HP Mobile Broadband Module is a choice for 3G. A six-cell battery will be offered as an option.

Prices for the base 1103 Mini starts at $ 300, but HP has not disclosed when the netbook will be available.
